Dance Fabulous is an innovative dancing game where you can dance freely (specific buttonpresses are requested only during short challenges), customize your characters the way you please and dance to your own music. You can use any MP3 from your library and even buy some brand new original music from Nokia's on-line Music Store inside the game.

Music legend Dave Stewart and a new up-and-coming sing star, Cindy Gómez, created an exclusive song for this game too, Street Dancing. We took care of sound programming, additional interface music and sound effects, including voices.

RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT

Dance Fabulous features the same sound engine we provided to ONE Sequel to play interface music plus a new system layer to play DRM-protected MP3 music during the dancing stages.

INTERACTIVE MUSIC

3 songs were made to be used in different parts of the game (menu, character editor and credits) though the menu song wasn't included in the game due to marketing issues so we won't show it here.

SOUND EFFECTS

More than 60 vocal effects from 3 different actors (Wesley Davis, Georgette Perna and our sing star, Cindy) were recorded to bring life to characters.

We also created a special set of musical effects allowing users to create melodies while switching between menu options. Notes move up and down along a blues scale depending on user input. The scale was chosen to work with the original menu music but, as this one wasn't finally included, it's a bit hard to imagine the effect. Luckily, seems many people found it fun anyway!
